Turbo Intake Kit

The CTS Turbo Intake Kit is engineered for N55-equipped BMW F2X, F3X, and F87 chassis, offering a significant upgrade over stock. This system directly addresses a common issue with aftermarket intakes: the MAF housing shape. Unlike many circular designs that lead to inaccurate air readings, erratic idling, and poor fuel economy, CTS Turbo utilizes a proprietary aluminum MAF housing that precisely mimics the factory hexagonal shape. This ensures the vehicle's computer receives correct airflow data, maintaining smooth operation across all transmissions (manual and automatic). The intake pipe is a 3.5" CNC mandrel-bent aluminum construction with a black powder-coated finish, designed to minimize turbulence and facilitate smooth airflow into the engine. An OEM air scoop works in conjunction with the included powder-coated airbox to channel cold air through the 3.5" high-flow, reusable air filter, which features an inverted cone design for maximum airflow. Installation includes all necessary bracketry and hardware to prevent rattling under engine torque. Peak power gains of 10-15HP are achievable on an otherwise stock vehicle, accompanied by an aggressive, race-inspired sound. This kit fits various BMW 2 Series, 3 Series, and 4 Series models equipped with the N55 3.0L engine, including M235i, M2, 335i, and 435i variants (both xDrive and standard). Note that this intake does not fit the F34 435i GT (Grand Turismo) models.
