Turbo Kit

The RX Turbo Kit is a comprehensive single turbo package engineered for 1995-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models equipped with the 3.8L 3800 V6 engine. This kit is designed to deliver substantial horsepower gains, with the capability of supporting up to 800 horsepower when paired with appropriate supporting modifications. On a stock motor, it can add significant power even at a low boost setting of 8-10 PSI. The package includes a T4 turbocharger with a .57 compressor wheel trim, wet float bearings, and a balanced rotating assembly, along with TIG-welded 321 stainless steel turbo manifolds and crossover piping. A front mount intercooler with an aluminum racing core is provided to efficiently cool the turbocharged air, complemented by a high-flow cooling fan and an electronic turbo timer. The kit also features a manual boost controller, aluminum intercooler piping, and a turbo oiling kit with high-temperature lines and premium gaskets for proper lubrication and installation. Additional components such as a fuel pressure regulator, external wastegate kit, oil catch can, blow-off valve kit, and heat wrap are also included to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the turbocharged system. The electronic turbo timer is crucial for preventing premature turbo wear and failure by ensuring a proper cool-down period, indicated by a bright LED display. This turbo kit is specifically designed for the 3.8L 3800 V6 naturally aspirated engine found in 1995-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models. Some piping may necessitate light modification for fitment. For optimal performance and reliability, supporting modifications and proper tuning are recommended.
