Description

The ISR Performance turbocharger kit offers a comprehensive solution for boosting the 1999-2005 Mazda Miata NB 1.8 engine. Engineered for a balance of quality and affordability, this kit is specifically designed to accept compact T25, T28, and GT-style turbochargers. It features a robust Schd 10 bottom mount tubular turbo manifold constructed from 304 stainless steel to resist cracking, paired with polished aluminum intercooler piping for optimal airflow. The kit also includes a chassis-specific intercooler with a dedicated mounting bracket for secure installation. Included in this package are all necessary oil and water lines, featuring AN fittings and a 10AN aluminum weld bung for the factory oil pan, ensuring proper lubrication and cooling. While this specific kit excludes the turbocharger itself, a variant with a turbocharger (Part No. IS-NB18TurboKit-T28) is available separately. Installation of this kit will require modifications, including drilling a 2.5-inch hole for intercooler routing. Simple modifications may be necessary if using T25 turbochargers such as the Garrett 2871.

The ISR Performance turbo kit is a comprehensive package designed for the Mazda Miata NB 1.8 engine from 1999-2005. This kit does not include a turbocharger itself but is designed to accommodate compact T25, T28, and GT style turbochargers. It features a durable tubular manifold, 304 stainless steel exhaust components, a chassis-specific intercooler with mounting bracket, and polished aluminum intercooler piping.

Included are AN oil feed and water lines with a turbo drain line and aluminum weld bung for the factory oil pan, as well as an AFM Delete intake with an air filter. The kit is designed with aftermarket ECUs and MAP sensors in mind. A more complete kit with a turbo is also available, and other T25 turbochargers can be used with minor modifications.
