The RacingLine Turbo Muffler Delete is precision-engineered for performance, constructed from a single-piece billet of T6-6061 aircraft-grade aluminum. It features a CNC-machined, maximum diameter, smoothed internal bore for optimal airflow, and is finished in anodized gloss midnight black. The design is CFD-developed to ensure maximum efficiency. This sleek billet component replaces the restrictive, power-robbing OEM turbo muffler, which, while intended to reduce engine bay acoustics, also creates unwanted turbulence in the airflow. By eliminating this restriction with the RacingLine Turbo Muffler Delete, you create a smooth, uninterrupted air path directly from the turbo compressor. The primary benefits of this upgrade include noticeably better boost response, a slight increase in overall power, and improved throttle reaction. Furthermore, the elimination of the OEM muffler allows the characteristic sounds of the turbocharger to be more audible, enhancing the driving experience. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in about 30 minutes using basic hand tools, with the option to easily return the system to its standard configuration.
