Turbo Oil Supply Block

This second-generation kit addresses common shortcomings of other relocation kits by prioritizing high oil pressure, utilizing large AN-8 fittings and braided stainless steel teflon-lined hose with minimal flow restriction. The oil filter block itself has been optimized for maximum flow, with internal passages shaped to enhance both flow rate and reduce engine noise. To further combat noise transmission into the cabin, the block is mounted on isolators, effectively dampening typical gurgling sounds. A robust backing plate provides maximum strength, and the kit includes an oil supply fitting, ready to feed a turbocharger if desired. Both the block adapter and filter block are precision-machined from aluminum, avoiding the brittleness of cast aluminum. Installation involves relocating the oil filter to the firewall for easier access. Non-ABS cars should experience no fitment issues. For Mazdaspeed MX-5 models, the fitment is tight. If the 1/8 NPT fitting is used for turbo oil supply, a 1/8 NPT to -4 AN union is required; this union is included with 1996-05 turbo kits but not with 1990-95 kits. This kit is compatible with Flyin' Miata oil cooler kits but should not be plumbed together. Install each according to their respective instructions without altering hose routing for optimal performance.
