The PRL Motorsports Turbo Outlet Adapter Hardware Kit addresses a known failure point with OEM studs on Ford F-150 models from 2011-2020. The original studs are difficult to remove without specialized tools, often resulting in damage to the stud and threads, with a high probability of breaking due to inferior steel quality and machining. This kit replaces those weak points with studs crafted from 303 stainless steel, providing superior corrosion and heat resistance. The 303 stainless is chosen for its ease of machining, ensuring quality threads and a long, reusable lifespan. The design incorporates hex key portions: a 6mm hex on the head for stable support when removing downpipe nuts, and a 15mm hex in the center for simplified installation and extraction without stripping. These features allow for the use of common hand tools, making removal and proper torque application significantly easier. Each kit contains all necessary components for installation, including 4 studs, 4 nuts, 2 gaskets, and an anti-seize packet. New gaskets are also provided to ensure a perfect seal.
