The Integrated Engineering IEBAVN3 Turbo Outlet Muffler Delete is designed to replace the restrictive factory muffler found on the compressor outlet of your turbocharger. The stock muffler muffles turbo noise, reducing the desirable spool sound and creating air turbulence that can hinder throttle response. By removing this component, the IE Turbo Outlet Boost Flow Pipe allows for increased airflow, restoring turbo sound and improving throttle response. This boost flow pipe features a proprietary two-piece design that is machined in-house to exact tolerances. It is finished in a durable black anodize for a sleek appearance. A custom gasket is included to ensure a perfect seal upon installation. This product is a direct replacement for OEM part number 06H 131 111. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under 20 minutes with basic tools, requiring no modifications or additional parts. The company recommends installing this part concurrently with a cold air intake for optimal results. It is designed exclusively for OEM turbos and will not fit aftermarket "big turbo" setups. However, it is compatible with all standard IHI turbos listed in the application guide, as well as the IS38 Golf R/S3 turbos.
