The IPD 992.1 Turbo Plenum is engineered to enhance the performance of the 3.7L H6 engine in the 992 chassis. Utilizing a patented 'Y' design, this plenum optimizes air flow management and delivery for substantial improvements in engine performance. The design is focused on efficiency, aiming to reduce initial turbo lag and provide greater power and torque gains from 4000 rpm to the redline. Dyno testing indicates potential peak gains of over 35 wheel horsepower and 35 wheel torque above 6000 rpm, significantly outperforming the factory air distributor. This plenum is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement and utilizes the factory 74mm throttle body. Professional installation is recommended for optimal results.
