Turbo Regal 3.8L V6 Fuel Sender Assembly with Walbro 450 LPH E85 Pump

The Racetronix FPS-G7W450EQ is a robust fuel sender assembly engineered for 1984-1987 Buick Regal models, specifically the Grand National and T-Type trims equipped with the 3.8L V6 turbocharged engine. This assembly boasts all-stainless steel construction for superior longevity and incorporates a pre-installed Walbro F90000267 450 LPH E-85 certified high-pressure, high-volume pump. This high-performance unit is designed to support engines exceeding 500 HP and is stated to outperform all current market in-tank fuel pumps. It features OEM technology validated to OEM specifications for reliable use with E85/flex fuel applications. Key design elements include a non-tapered pump outlet tube and smoother radius bends for maximized flow and performance, along with dual 14-gauge circuits for enhanced current handling and reliability. A modular wiring harness simplifies repairs, and the assembly includes a new stainless-steel locking ring and OE-type tank gasket. An upgraded grounding system and a 30-micron graded-media filter sock are also included. Installation considerations include that this unit features a new 30-amp power connector which will not plug directly into older hotwire harnesses, making the Racetronix heavy-duty FPWH-076 hotwire harness highly recommended. An FPAH-076 adapter is available for compatibility with factory-type Weather-Pack connectors on first-generation harnesses, but the unit MUST NOT be run off of factory wiring. Additionally, the factory return lines are too restrictive for this pump's volume and must be upgraded to -6 Teflon-lined hose; complete line kits and QD to JIC adapters are offered separately. Compatibility is specifically for 1984-1987 Buick Regal Grand National, T-Type, and Limited models with the 3.8L V6 Turbocharged engine. While it may fit other G-Body cars with modification, these applications are not supported by Racetronix. The unit includes a new-style 90-ohm ceramic level sender resistor for analogue dash applications; a 120-ohm sensor for digital dashes is optional.
