The HPS Turbo Resonator is engineered for the 2016-2017 Lexus IS200t 2.0L Turbo (8AR-FTS engine) to enhance performance and driving feel. It directly replaces the factory plastic resonator, aiming to provide quicker throttle response, reduced turbo lag, and a smoother delivery of boost. Its design, developed using CAD and 3D scanning technology, guarantees a direct fitment requiring no modifications to the vehicle. This ensures a seamless integration into the existing intake system. Installation is straightforward, typically taking around 20 minutes with basic hand tools, making it an accessible performance upgrade for Lexus owners. While this part enhances air delivery, it is important to note that it is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California. A slight increase in induction noise may be noticeable, particularly when paired with an HPS Performance Air Intake System.
