The Shark Racing turbostart_vel is a turbo starter package specifically designed for the 2012-2018 Hyundai Veloster models equipped with the 1.6 gamma engine. This comprehensive kit provides the most challenging components for a turbo upgrade, including a TD05-14G turbocharger, a full stainless steel and hand-welded turbo manifold, a dedicated downpipe, and a turbo head gasket engineered to reduce compression ratio to 8.5:1. These core parts are manufactured in Korea, with the manifold produced by Maintec, a prominent Korean manufacturer of turbo components. While this package includes the most difficult-to-fabricate parts, it is important to note that additional components are required for a fully functioning turbo system. Buyers will need to source and custom-build or acquire parts such as piping, an intercooler, oil lines, and an ECU tune. These supplementary items are not included and must be obtained separately.
