The Tomei Turbo Suction Hose Kit is engineered to enhance intake efficiency for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. This upgrade replaces the restrictive stock turbo suction hose and inlet elbow with larger components that offer a combined capacity of 135% over the original setup. The design incorporates smoother bends and streamlined connecting tubes, significantly improving the flow of air to the turbocharger. Constructed from premium, heat-resistant 4-ply silicone and reinforced with steel wires, this hose is built for exceptional durability and longevity. This robust construction prevents hose collapse under boost pressure, ensuring consistent performance and a reliable service life. By eliminating the accordion-style design of the stock hose, the Tomei kit reduces air turbulence, promoting a smoother and more efficient intake path. The kit includes a blind plug for the boost solenoid return nipple, useful when installing aftermarket boost controllers or solenoids. Customers can choose between a 60mm elbow size for stock turbo applications or a 63mm elbow for use with ARMS turbos or similar aftermarket upgrades. The package contains the turbo suction hose, necessary mounting hardware, and installation instructions.
