The Tomei Turbo Suction Hose Kit is a performance-enhancing component engineered for the 2002-2007 Mitsubishi Evolution VII, VIII, and IX. This kit significantly improves airflow efficiency to the turbocharger by replacing the stock accordion-style hose with a smoother, enlarged design. The combined capacity of the enlarged turbo suction hose and inlet elbow is 140% greater than the stock setup, leading to a dramatic improvement in air flow and a substantial performance increase. The construction utilizes heat-resistant, highly durable, fiber-reinforced 4-ply silicone, infused with steel wires. This robust build prevents hose collapse under load and ensures longevity, maintaining high performance over time. By eliminating the restrictive, accordion-style design of the factory hose, the Tomei kit greatly reduces air turbulence, promoting smoother and more efficient air delivery to the turbo. The connecting tubes have also been streamlined to further enhance flow efficiency.
