The Precision Turbo & Engine PT5858 turbocharger is engineered for performance enthusiasts seeking significant power gains. This unit features an exclusive CEA (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor wheel, machined from a 2618-aluminum forging, which contributes to higher efficiency and maximum power output. The turbo boasts a 58mm inducer compressor wheel and a 58mm, 76 trim turbine wheel. The inlet and discharge are both V-Band type for secure and efficient connection. This turbo is rated to support up to 620 horsepower. With a wide array of compressor cover and turbine housing options, the PT5858 can be customized to suit various engine builds and performance goals. Compressor cover options include the "B" (2.8" inlet/2.0" outlet), "E" (3.0" inlet/2.0" outlet), and "Ported S" (4.0" inlet/2.5" outlet). Turbine housing choices range from T3 .48, .63, or .82 A/R with 4-bolt discharge, to T3 .48 or .63 A/R with 5-bolt discharge (with or without wastegate hole), and various V-Band inlet/discharge configurations including T4 Tangential options. The turbo is available with either a Hydrodynamic 360° thrust bearing system or an air-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA). Installation may require custom fabrication and tuning to achieve optimal performance and reliability.
