Overview

The Clevite 286 TC 21029 100 connecting rod bearing set is designed for competition engines but suitable for all. These H-Series bearings feature medium eccentricity, high crush, hardened steel backs with a thin overlay, and no flash plating for better seating. Some are narrowed (HN suffix) for crankshaft fillet clearance, and 0.001-inch extra clearance versions (HX suffix) are available. They work with oversize fillets and medium to high RPM engines, recommended when P-Series bearings show narrow contact patterns.
