Description

This sensor monitors the differential pressure across the diesel particulate filter (DPF) to determine when regeneration is needed to clean the filter. It plays a crucial role in the vehicle's emission control system. Depending on application, it may serve as an air charge temperature sensor, barometric pressure sensor, exhaust gas differential pressure sensor, fuel tank pressure sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor, turbocharger boost sensor, or supercharger pressure sensor.
