Description

The STANDARD IGN TIH145 is a throttle position sensor designed to help restore maximum fuel efficiency and power from your engine. This replacement sensor transforms throttle position into an output voltage signal for your vehicle's computer. It detects the throttle valve's opening and closing speed, feeding this crucial data to the computer to determine optimum engine operating conditions for idle control, fuel enrichment, and fuel cut.
