Turbocharger Kit

The SME TS1-750 turbo kit provides a significant performance upgrade for the 2022+ Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ, utilizing an FA24 engine-specific design. The kit is built around a high-flow 750hp-rated turbocharger and a massive 100mm core intercooler that installs cleanly using custom laser-cut brackets without cutting the vehicle's crash bar. By utilizing Turbosmart internal wastegate and OPR40 oil pressure regulation, the system ensures consistent performance and protects turbo seals. Installation is simplified by the omission of coolant lines, with the kit including all necessary hardware, oil feed and drain lines, a handmade EL turbo manifold, and a baffled aluminum sump. The downpipe is available with a 2.75-inch or 3-inch outlet to accommodate different exhaust configurations, requiring the user to specify their preferred flange size upon ordering to ensure compatibility with their existing over-pipe. Performance gains are substantial, with documentation showing over 90% power increases at 9psi on pump fuel, and exceeding 240% gains at 12psi on E85. Note that these high-output levels approach the limits of the factory fuel system; upgrading fuel injectors is recommended to support the increased air supply. An optional 15-row thermostatic oil cooler is available to further manage temperatures during track use.
