Turbocharger Upgrade

The VTT-B58-GC is a high-performance turbocharger upgrade for the BMW B58 engine, featuring proprietary VTT engineering and 100% new, OE-quality castings. By replacing restrictive factory components—including the inlet area, bearing housing, and thrust assembly—this upgrade allows for significant power gains while maintaining reliable, factory-like spool times. It connects directly to all factory lines, including oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe, for a straightforward installation process. Compatibility note: This system removes the factory PTC heater, which will cause a shadow DME code on scan tools; this does not trigger a check engine light, though it can be coded out. Regarding intake fitment, the included silicone inlet tube fits the stock airbox and many aftermarket intakes, but is not compatible with all designs, such as Injen intakes. In cases of incompatibility, a VTT MAF housing and filter are required. To achieve full performance potential, this turbocharger should be paired with supporting modifications such as fuel system upgrades, a high-flow downpipe, intercooler, and professional tuning. The GC is a super core-only unit that plugs directly into the factory exhaust housing.
