The Rareelectrical turbocharger serves as a direct-fit replacement for the IHI IS12 / JHJ-RHF4 turbocharger found in various Volkswagen and Audi models. It is specifically compatible with the 1.8L EA888 Gen 3 TSI engine, including engine codes CPKA, CPRA, CNSB, and CXB. The unit is constructed with a durable cast aluminum housing and utilizes standard cast compressor and turbine wheels. It features an internal wastegate with an electronic actuator and relies on an oil and coolant cooling system for thermal management. Because this item fits multiple vehicle applications based on specific part numbers, you must verify the OEM part number from your original unit to ensure proper fitment. This turbocharger replaces numerous OEM part numbers, including 06K145702J, 06K145702M, 06K145713H, 06K145722A, and 06K145874F, among others. Compatibility includes various trim levels of the Volkswagen Beetle (2014-2017) and Jetta (2014-2018), as well as specific 2020 Passat models.
