The Turbosmart TS-1 Performance Turbocharger 6870 (Kompact) V-Band 1.07AR Externally Wastegated is designed for significant power gains. It is part of Turbosmart’s turbocharger series, which leverages modern materials, design, and manufacturing techniques for both motorsport and performance enthusiasts. Every Turbosmart turbocharger comes with all necessary installation components, including weld flanges, V-band clamps, gaskets, and oil feed and drain fittings. The TS-1 series features oil-cooled turbochargers with lightweight investment-cast turbine housings, a proprietary bearing, and a main shaft combination for excellent transient response. The ultra-low rotating mass of the bearing and shaft assembly is matched with aggressive compressor aerodynamics for high performance at lower shaft speeds. The unique turbine wheel ensures power at high loads and sustained flow. Turbosmart turbochargers are designed for reduced back pressure and high-performance turbines, resulting in a smaller, lighter, and faster-responding solution. It is available in TS-1 (oil-cooled) and TS-2 (oil and water-cooled) options, with various V-Band, T3, and T4 flange options, reverse rotation for selected sizes, different A/R options, and internal/external wastegated options.
