The Turbosmart Compressed Gas BoostGate76 simplifies boost control with a diaphragm-style actuator designed for Compressed Gas / CO2 boost controllers. It features a custom Nomex diaphragm for "fill and spill" style boost control systems. Unlike traditional external wastegates, this Charge Air Control device is a controlled bleed of compressed air on the cold side of the turbocharger system (boost), mounted to the charge pipe. It's suited for applications like drag racing where turbocharger specifications are optimized and the turbine housing isn't a limiting factor. It uses a zero-offset butterfly-styled valve for incredible resolution, enormous flow, and precise boost control.
