The Turbosmart OPR V2 Turbo Oil Pressure Regulator is a new 2022 model designed to provide stable oil pressure for turbochargers. It features an inline, return-less design with a built-in 44-micron stainless steel mesh oil filter. This regulator uses a patent-pending flow control strategy to deliver laminar oil flow to the turbo, regardless of base engine oil pressure or temperature. It is suitable for all engine oils and helps prevent oil consumption and smoking caused by over-pressurized oil.

The Turbosmart OPR V2 Turbo Oil Pressure Regulator represents a significant advancement in turbocharger oil management, introduced in 2022. It offers a robust solution for maintaining precise oil pressure critical to turbocharger longevity and performance. Unlike traditional methods involving restrictors or separate return lines, the OPR V2 utilizes an innovative, return-less, inline design. At its core, the OPR V2 employs Turbosmart's Patent Pending flow control strategy. This system achieves targeted oil pressure by delivering a laminar flow of oil to the turbocharger, ensuring consistent lubrication irrespective of fluctuating base engine oil pressure or temperature. This precise regulation is vital for protecting the internal components of the turbocharger, such as exhaust drive, back, and charge pressures, from damage caused by excessive oil pressure, which can lead to oil consumption and smoking. Construction features include a durable anodized body and valve made from 6262 T6 aluminum. For added protection against contaminants, a serviceable and replaceable 304 stainless steel mesh oil filter with a 44-micron rating is integrated directly into the unit. The regulator is equipped with -4AN inlet and outlet fittings and a 1/8 NPT port for sensor or gauge installation. The OPR V2 is Australian designed and manufactured.
