The Turbosmart Gen V WG40 CompGate 40 is a high-performance external wastegate designed for motorsport applications. This 5th series wastegate offers maximum user-adjustability without compromising performance, featuring interchangeable actuators across the range. Its unique variable adjustment design allows the wastegate actuator base to be oriented independently from the weld flanges, and the cap is completely independent and indexable in 12 different positions, enabling fitment in confined spaces. The modular construction ensures upgradeability and full serviceability, with components tested for over one million cycles for rock-solid reliability. The Gen V WG40 CompGate 40 boasts class-leading thermal and flow performance, out-flowing competitors due to advanced engineering and CFD optimization. It features liquid cooling ports for enhanced thermal management if required. For fine-tuning, a selection of springs is supplied with each wastegate. All wastegates include 1/8″ NPT ports for maximum response and flow. It is a direct fit upgrade for all Gen4 Turbosmart wastegates and incorporates a collar-locking system, strap-type V-band clamps, and a diaphragm design offering linear travel regardless of spring pressure and valve positioning, improving response.
