Tuscan I-Beam Connecting Rod Set

The Integrated Engineering IERTVT1 Tuscan I-beam connecting rods are engineered for high-performance VW and Audi 2.0T TSI engines, supporting builds up to 1000 bhp. Constructed from vacuum-drawn, two-piece 4340 chrome moly steel, these rods feature a unique, stress-reducing egg shape in their I-beam design, providing superior bending and torsional stiffness. The rods are honed in the USA to within 250 millionths of an inch for exceptional bearing reliability and are balanced to +/- 1 gram. Key features include IE Spec ARP 2000 rod bolts, forced pin oiling via rifle drilling for enhanced wrist pin longevity, and multi-stage heat treatment for dimensional stability and fatigue life. These connecting rods require installation with aftermarket pistons that have a 22mm non-tapered wrist pin; specifically compatible pistons include IE Spec Mahle Forged Pistons in 82.5mm (MAH-PVN1) or 83mm bore (MAH-PVN2). Fitment includes VW MK5, MK6, MK7/MK7.5 and Audi B8, C7, 8P, 8J, 8V, 8S models with EA888 Gen 1, 2, and 3 engines. Each rod set is dimensionally and magnaflux inspected to ensure extreme reliability and is finished and quality controlled in the USA.
