The Sonnax AS1-01K TV Cable Corrector Kit is an aftermarket component designed to address common issues with throttle valve (TV) cable adjustment in specific automatic transmissions. It achieves this by incorporating a mechanism that allows the internal spring to compress and absorb any excess cable movement, thus maintaining proper adjustment. The AS1-01K corrector kit is compatible with GM TH200, TH200-4R, and 700R4/4L60 transmissions, as well as Ford AOD and AXOD transmissions. By ensuring correct TV cable adjustment, this kit helps to prevent potential transmission damage and ensures optimal shift points and performance. Proper adjustment is critical for the transmission's hydraulic system to function correctly, and failure to maintain adjustment can lead to severe internal damage.
