The Magnuson TVS1900 Radix Supercharger System is a bolt-on upgrade engineered for maximum performance and reliability in 2014-2017 GMC Sierra 1500 L83 5.3L V8 models. This system features an air-to-water intercooler with a front-mounted heat exchanger and electric water pump, designed to keep intake air temperatures consistently low, typically only 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit over ambient. Generating 6 psi of boost, this Hybrid Roots Style Supercharger leverages Eaton's 6th Generation rotor technology, delivering substantial power gains of over 100 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. The "under the curve" power is significantly enhanced, providing near-instantaneous boost and torque. An integrated bypass valve allows the rotors to "free-spin" under light loads, minimizing parasitic loss and maintaining stock-like drivability and fuel economy. The system comes pre-assembled with the supercharger, intake manifold, inlet, pulley, fuel injectors, fuel rails, and intercooler for simplified installation. All necessary hardware and a full-color, step-by-step installation manual are included. The sealed supercharger rotor assembly requires no maintenance or oil changes and is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Tools required include a standard metric wrench and socket set, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and potentially a drill for crank pulley pinning.
