This kit includes two twin-block calipers and mounting hardware, directly replacing the OEM components. Constructed with Spoon's signature attention to detail, these calipers offer a significant weight reduction compared to stock: 2.4 kg for the Spoon calipers versus 5.2 kg for OEM. This reduction contributes to improved handling and responsiveness. The Twin-Block design provides robust performance. Installation of these calipers requires upgraded brake rotors, which are not included in this set. Additionally, wheel spacers may be necessary for proper fitment with certain stock OEM wheels. Compatibility includes: Honda Civic EG6 B16A (07/1991-08/1995), EK4 B16A (09/1995-09/1998 & 09/1998-08/2000), Ferio EK4 B16A (09/1995-08/2000), and Type-R EK9 B16B (08/1997-09/1998 & 09/1998-08/2000); CR-Z ZF1 LEA-MF6 (02/2010-09/2012) and ZF2 LEA-MF6 (09/2012-07/2015 & 08/2015-01/2017); Fit GE8 L15A (10/2007-10/2010 & 10/2010-08/2013) and GK5 L15B (09/2013-06/2017 & 06/2017-02/2020); and Integra DB8 B18C (09/1995-07/2001) and DC2 B18C (09/1995-07/2001), with a note that DC2/DB8 models require Type-R '98Spec. Spoon Brake Pads (45022-EK9-000) are recommended for all models. Note that fitment is based on JDM specifications and independent research by the buyer is advised.
