Twin Catch Can and Coolant Expansion Tank System

The Forge Motorsport FMCT5 is a one-of-a-kind twin catch can and coolant expansion tank system, representing extensive development and a unique offering in the market. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory coolant expansion tank, its construction involves CAD laser-cut alloy, expertly welded at Forge UK's headquarters. Enhancements include an internal coolant level indicator for easier top-ups and a machined cap cover that fits over the OEM cap, contributing to a premium aesthetic. This system functions as a definitive solution for reducing engine sludge and carbon buildup, thereby improving engine efficiency and performance. It is particularly recommended for vehicles undergoing advanced power tuning. The twin catch cans meticulously filter both the PCV and intake breather systems, capturing detrimental contaminants such as oil deposits, uncombusted fuel vapors, and moisture that would otherwise return to the engine's intake. Each catch can is equipped with a dipstick for monitoring captured deposits and can be emptied via the dipstick opening or through drain plugs located at the bottom. Forge Motorsport utilizes superior braided hoses, featuring an inner tube constructed from anti-static, fuel-resistant nitrile rubber and an outer cover of reinforced stainless-steel wire braid. This specialized construction ensures resistance to both pressure expansion and vacuum collapse, operating within a temperature range of -54°C to +150°C (-65°F to 300°F). The FMCT5 is available in a raw aluminum finish or a textured black powder coat. Installation is straightforward, with all necessary fittings and detailed instructions included. The design also allows for the original engine cover to be refitted after installation.
