Overview

The ClutchMax CM07230MP-CK is a twin-plate clutch kit with a performance chromoly flywheel designed to significantly increase horsepower and torque holding capacity. It features two 240mm full-faced carbon organic composite rigid discs for a 100% increase in torque capacity. The proprietary pressure plate ensures consistent pedal feel and clean release, even at high RPMs. The kit includes a solid 4140 chromoly forged steel flywheel that is CNC machined and balanced for smooth operation.

The ClutchMax 700HP Twin Plate Clutch Kit & Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set is engineered to provide a substantial upgrade in torque and horsepower handling capabilities for performance vehicles. This comprehensive system utilizes a twin-plate design with two 240mm full-faced carbon organic composite rigid discs, effectively doubling the torque capacity to 700 lb-ft. The proprietary HD pressure plate is designed for consistent pedal feel, clean release, and smoother load transfers, performing reliably even at 9,000 RPM. The kit features a one-piece solid 4140 chromoly forged steel flywheel, which is CNC machined and balanced to within 0.100 oz for optimal smoothness across the entire RPM range. This solid flywheel replaces the factory dual-mass flywheel, offering improved feel and performance. The included components consist of the performance solid chromoly flywheel, a performance HD pressure plate, two performance carbon organic composite rigid discs, a performance HD mid-plate, pressure plate mounting bolts with washers, flywheel mounting bolts, and a clutch alignment tool. A clutch installation guide is also provided. This clutch kit is specifically designed to fit the 2015 - 2023 Ford Mustang Ecoboost models equipped with the 2.3L DOHC 4-cylinder turbo engine and the MT-82 6-speed manual transmission. A recommended break-in period of 500 miles is advised for optimal performance and longevity.
