Show original supplier description
The Dobinsons Twin Tube Shock Absorbers, like the GS59-628 LH gas strut, are engineered to significantly enhance vehicle handling and control, offering a substantial performance upgrade over standard shocks. Developed and tested in Australia for extreme conditions, these shocks feature a larger body and bore size, which helps reduce shock fade and ensures consistent performance even under heavy loads or on harsh terrains. The strut also incorporates Teflon piston rings to reduce internal friction and improve responsiveness, a double chromed 18mm rod for increased strength and corrosion resistance, and natural rubber bushings for improved ride comfort and noise reduction. A steel dust cover adds protection against debris. Designed as a direct bolt-in OE replacement, this gas strut aims for straightforward installation without requiring modifications. Specific fitment data indicates compatibility with the Toyota Rav 4 XA50 5th Gen (2019 on), and also references fitment for Toyota Rav-4 5th Gen (2019-2025) models, including Plug-In Hybrid variants and those from 2020 onwards. The product is available in Black or Yellow.
