The SR Performance Rear Shock is engineered to enhance the handling and control of your S197 Mustang. Featuring non-adjustable, pre-set damping, these shocks offer a reliable upgrade for budget-conscious owners, providing confidence for both street and track use. For optimal balanced handling, it is recommended to upgrade the front struts concurrently. Constructed with a gas-pressurized twin-tube design, this shock utilizes a larger diameter piston for superior dampening and rebound compared to stock units. The durable steel housing is finished in black for an appealing look. This rear shock is sold individually. Installation of this rear shock requires mechanical expertise or professional installation. The process is estimated to take approximately one hour. This SR Performance Rear Shock is designed for 2005 to 2014 Ford Mustangs, including V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS, and Shelby GT500 models.
