Twin-Tube Gas Shock Absorber

The Dobinsons GS59-782 is a front twin-tube gas shock absorber engineered to significantly enhance vehicle handling and control, providing a substantial performance upgrade over standard shocks. Designed, developed, and rigorously tested in Australia, these shocks are built to endure the most demanding conditions, from extreme heat to subzero temperatures, ensuring consistent performance even under heavy loads or harsh terrains. They feature larger bodies and bores to effectively reduce shock fade. Constructed with a "Twin-Tube Big-Bore Design," this shock absorber utilizes a larger body and bore size for increased durability and performance. For responsiveness and durability, it incorporates Teflon Piston Rings, while a double chromed 18mm rod offers increased strength and resistance to wear and corrosion. The natural rubber bushings provide improved ride comfort and noise reduction, and a steel dust cover protects the rod from damage, extending the lifespan of the shock absorber. Designed as a "Direct Bolt-In OE Replacement," the GS59-782 allows for straightforward installation without the need for modifications. These shocks are specifically designed for the Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series and Lexus LX470 models from 1998-2006, intended for 0-2 inches of lift. They can be used to replace stock shocks or can be paired with up to 2" lifted torsion bars. Dobinsons shocks are matched to compliment their complete suspension systems.
