The Dobinsons GS97-560 is a twin-tube gas shock absorber designed for camper trailers and caravans. It features a nitrogen gas charge to reduce oil aeration and shock fade. The shock absorber is built with superior design, thicker walls, and longer travel for enhanced performance.

The piston rings are Teflon, and the rods are double chrome hardened. A metal shock boot protects the rod from damage. This shock absorber is matched to complement Dobinsons Complete Suspension Systems.

The Dobinsons GS97-560 is a heavy-duty twin-tube gas shock absorber engineered specifically for the demanding conditions of off-road camper trailers and caravans. It utilizes a low-pressure nitrogen gas charge to effectively reduce oil aeration and prevent shock fade, ensuring consistent performance even under strenuous use. This shock absorber boasts a superior design with thicker walls and extended travel, providing robust durability and enhanced damping capabilities. Built with premium materials for longevity and optimal function, the GS97-560 incorporates Japanese NOK Multi-Lip seals, renowned for their reliability. It is filled with Fuchs German shock absorber oil, a high-performance fluid ensuring smooth operation across various temperatures. The inclusion of natural rubber bushings contributes to reduced noise and vibration transmission, offering a more comfortable experience. Further enhancing its performance are Teflon piston rings for smooth piston movement and double chrome-hardened rods for superior strength and corrosion resistance. A durable metal shock boot is fitted to protect the piston rod from impacts and debris. Designed to integrate seamlessly with other suspension components, the GS97-560 is matched to complement Dobinsons' complete suspension systems. Its specifications include an extended length of 14.8 inches (377mm), a compressed length of 9.9 inches (253mm), and a travel length of 4.8 inches (124mm), with an 18mm rod diameter.
