Description

The Dobinsons GS59-711 is a twin-tube gas shock absorber engineered to provide a significant performance upgrade over standard shocks, enhancing vehicle handling and control. Developed and tested in Australia for extreme conditions, its larger body and bore design effectively reduce shock fade, ensuring consistent performance under heavy loads and on harsh terrains. It also features natural rubber bushings for enhanced ride comfort and noise reduction, and a steel dust cover to protect the rod from debris and extend its lifespan. These shocks are designed as direct bolt-in OE replacements, facilitating straightforward installation without requiring modifications. This rear shock absorber is specifically designed to accommodate a 0-2 inch rear lift, making it suitable for use with original springs or Dobinsons springs. The shock absorber is sold in pairs and is designed for 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra models. Dobinsons shocks are built to withstand a wide range of environmental conditions, from the heat of the Australian outback to subzero winters. They provide a significant increase in performance compared to originally equipped shock absorbers, which are often prone to shock fade when subjected to additional weight or harsh 4x4 conditions. The larger bodies, bores, and improved valving performance of Dobinsons twin-tube shock absorbers dramatically improve vehicle handling and control while reducing shock fade.
