The Dobinsons GS43-801 is a twin-tube shock absorber engineered for enhanced vehicle handling and control, offering a significant performance upgrade over standard shocks. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons Spring & Suspension, these shocks are built to withstand extreme conditions. They feature a big-bore twin-tube design for durability and performance, utilizing larger bodies and bores. This design, coupled with Fuchs German shock absorber oil, helps to reduce oil aeration and prevent shock fade, ensuring consistent performance even under heavy loads or harsh terrains. Key features include Japanese NOK Multi-Lip seals for superior leak protection, Teflon Piston Rings to reduce internal friction and enhance responsiveness, and double chrome-hardened rods for increased strength and wear resistance. Natural rubber bushings are incorporated for improved ride comfort and noise reduction, while a metal shock boot protects the rod from damage. These shocks are designed as a direct bolt-in OE replacement, compatible with original coils or aftermarket options, and are sold in pairs.
