Description

The BDS Suspension BDS98166 is a pair of twin-tube gas struts engineered to enhance the handling performance of compatible vehicles. These struts are specifically tuned with rod-displaced valving that adapts to varying road conditions, ensuring a smooth and consistent ride by filtering out harshness, noise, and vibration. Constructed with all-weather fluid containing special additives to prevent oil breakdown in extreme temperatures, these struts feature a chrome-plated piston, a bronze-reinforced rod guide bearing, and a special single lip seal for extended service intervals. The specific measurements include a compressed length of 19.6000 inches, an extended length of 24.5700 inches, and a travel length of 4.9700 inches, with an 18mm shaft diameter. This strut kit is designed for 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD models when equipped with a BDS 6-inch lift kit. Mounting hardware is not included, and installation is estimated to take 2-3 hours.
