Twin Turbo Kit

The MMI Motorsports twin turbo kit offers a comprehensive solution for boosting the performance of 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, or 6.0L V8 LS engines. Designed as a direct bolt-on, turn-key system by RaceMMI, it emphasizes ease of installation, aiming for a weekend project for the average enthusiast with no custom intake or exhaust work required. The kit retains factory components such as air conditioning, power steering, fog lights, the stock fan and shroud, and all stock sensors, and requires no cutting or hacking. It also avoids the need to relocate any parts, including the battery. Key features of this kit include OEM quality cast exhaust manifolds and downpipes, mandrel-bent TIG-welded aluminum intake piping, and hybrid T3/T4 turbochargers. It also comes with a bar-and-plate front mount intercooler with brackets and complete braided stainless steel AN oil lines with a feed adapter. All necessary vacuum lines, PCV system components, check valves, and clamps are included. The system hooks back up to the factory exhaust system. With boost starting at 8psi, this kit is expected to deliver horsepower in the 500s with a 100% stock drivetrain. Tuning is recommended, either locally or via mail order. MPG is expected to remain stock under normal driving conditions. The manufacturer recommends new spark plugs and poly/solid motor mounts. While heat wrap is included, ceramic coating the hot parts before installation is suggested.
