Description

The Renthal TwinWall handlebar, model 997, is engineered for extreme conditions, providing a unique blend of strength, resilience, and enhanced safety. This handlebar features a patented double-skinned design, consisting of two aluminum alloy tubes nested together, which offers exceptional resistance to fatigue failure. With a larger diameter of 1 1/8" (28.6mm), the TwinWall handlebar provides a robust platform for control. Key dimensions include a width of 804mm, a height of 105mm, a rise of 64mm, a clamp area width of 110mm, a sweep of 54mm, and a control length of 200mm. The handlebar comes complete with a Renthal cross bar pad. Installation of the Renthal TwinWall handlebar typically involves removing existing controls and handlebars, then fitting the throttle, brake, clutch, and switches to the new handlebar before mounting it to the motorcycle. It's important to check your motorcycle's clamp width before ordering, as model-specific 1-1/8" bar mounts may be required for compatibility with bikes originally equipped with different sizes.
