The Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 185 is a bare cylinder head designed for Ford 4.6L/5.4L 2V engines. It features 38cc CNC-machined combustion chambers and 185cc intake runners. The head is constructed from cast aluminum and includes a Twisted Wedge combustion chamber style.

The Trick Flow® Twisted Wedge® 185 series cylinder heads are engineered to enhance performance for modular-powered Ford vehicles. These bare cylinder heads, constructed from cast aluminum, feature 38cc CNC-profiled combustion chambers and 185cc Fast As Cast® intake runners designed to deliver increased mid-lift airflow. Key specifications include 93cc exhaust runners, a 1.840-inch intake valve diameter, and a 1.450-inch exhaust valve diameter. The Twisted Wedge combustion chamber design, along with intake valves moved to the opposite side of the cam, provides significant improvements in piston-to-valve clearance and valve-to-bore clearance, enabling the use of higher lift cams and larger valves without altering bore size or flycutting pistons. These heads are intended for mildly modified engines. The Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 185 heads are compatible with all 2V Romeo and Windsor engines. They accept OE-style camshafts, followers, lash adjusters, valve covers, and most OE Ford front covers. These cylinder heads are sold individually.
