The ATE Original Type 200 is a DOT 4 racing brake fluid designed to perform under extreme demands. It exceeds all DOT 4 standards and offers a minimal drop in boiling point due to its outstanding water-binding properties. This formula provides a long-lasting fluid suitable for both race vehicles and high-performance drivers.

The fluid's high dry and wet boiling points make it an excellent choice for street-driven vehicles as well. It offers excellent corrosion protection and a high safety tolerance against steam bubbles, ensuring non-foaming during filling and bleeding. The ATE Type 200 can potentially extend brake fluid changing intervals up to three years under normal highway driving conditions.

The ATE Type 200 brake fluid is formulated to meet and exceed DOT 4 specifications, making it suitable for hydraulic brake and clutch systems in a wide range of vehicles. This high-performance fluid offers superior resistance to vapor lock with a dry boiling point of 280°C (536°F) and a wet boiling point of 198°C (388°F), ensuring consistent braking performance even under demanding conditions. Engineered for optimal performance, the ATE Type 200 exhibits excellent water absorption properties, which helps maintain its high boiling point over time. Its viscosity characteristics include 1,400 mm²/s at -40°C and a range of 2.2 to 2.8 mm²/s at 100°C. The fluid is non-foaming during filling and bleeding processes and provides excellent corrosion protection for brake system components. This brake fluid is compatible with and can be mixed with DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1 fluids. It is recommended to consult your vehicle's owner's manual to confirm the correct brake fluid type for your application. The ATE Type 200 is available in a 1-liter can.
