Type 200 DOT 4 Brake Fluid

The ATE Type 200 brake fluid is a high-performance, DOT 4 compliant fluid engineered for a range of driving conditions, including daily use, autocross events, and light track duty. This glycol-based fluid features a dry boiling point of 280°C (536°F) and a wet boiling point of 198°C (388°F), ensuring reliable braking performance even under demanding conditions. Brake fluids are hygroscopic, meaning they absorb moisture from the atmosphere. Over time, this moisture content increases, lowering the fluid's boiling point and potentially leading to brake fade and corrosion. ATE recommends changing this brake fluid every up to three years to maintain optimal performance and protect the integrity of your brake seals and lines. This is a universal product and may require modification depending on the specific application.
