Description

The Anderson Composites Type-DM Demon Style Hood is a custom carbon fiber hood specifically designed for the 2015-2022 Dodge Charger. Utilizing Anderson Composites' VIP carbon fiber manufacturing process, this hood is created by applying resin and carbon fiber fabric layers into a mold, which is then vacuum-sealed for curing. This method ensures an excellent fabric-to-resin ratio, resulting in a lightweight yet durable component. Constructed from premium carbon fiber with a high-luster finish that requires no additional clear coat, this hood also features a reinforced fiberglass skeleton bonded to its underside for enhanced strength and support. For safety, the use of hood pins is required. It is crucial not to install gas hood shocks, dampers, or struts with this hood. Additionally, a heat shield is necessary for proper installation and function.
