Description

The Anderson Composites Type-GR hood offers a GT350 style upgrade for the 2018-2020 Ford Mustang Eco Boost and GT models. Manufactured with Anderson Composites' VIP process, this double-sided carbon fiber hood involves laying carbon fiber fabric over a resin-coated mold, then vacuum-sealing for optimal resin-to-fabric ratio. The result is a lightweight part with a high luster finish, requiring no additional clear coat. A carbon fiber skeleton is bonded to the underside of the hood, providing strength and support. This hood mounts using OE hardware. For safety, hood pins are required, and gas hood shocks, dampers, or struts should not be installed. Additionally, a heat shield is necessary for proper installation. This hood is compatible with 2015-2023 Ford Mustang models, including GT350, GT500, Bullitt, and EcoBoost/GT variants.
