The Anderson Composites Type-OE carbon fiber decklid offers a lightweight and stylish upgrade for the rear of your 2013-2014 Ford Mustang GT, V6, Shelby GT500, or 2013 BOSS 302. This decklid is constructed using Anderson Composites' VIP carbon fiber manufacturing process, which involves carefully laying carbon fiber fabric and applying resin before vacuum curing. This method ensures an optimal fabric-to-resin ratio for a strong and visually appealing part. Each decklid is meticulously trimmed and finished with a high-gloss gel coat to protect the surface and provide a brilliant luster, eliminating the need for an additional clear coat. For enhanced durability and structural integrity, a fiberglass "skeleton" is bonded to the underside of the carbon fiber.
