The Anderson Composites Type-OE carbon fiber hood is meticulously hand-crafted for 2021-2026 Ford F-150 pickup trucks, specifically for XL, XLT, and STX trims. The production process ensures a high carbon/resin ratio, resulting in exceptional product stiffness and strength. Installation utilizes the original equipment (OE) hardware, hinges, and latch, which are not included with the hood. Minor adjustments may be necessary during installation, and professional installation by an expert experienced with carbon fiber components is recommended for optimal fitment. Important safety notes accompany this product: All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons; Anderson Composites is not liable for damages due to their improper use. A heat shield is also required. Furthermore, Anderson Composites advises against reinstalling OE gas struts, as they can place excessive pressure on a composite hood; always close the hood carefully, as slamming or dropping it may cause cracks.
