Description

The Anderson Composites Type-OE Hood Insert is specifically crafted for the 2017-2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, aiming to enhance heat extraction. This 2-piece insert is constructed from VIP carbon fiber, a material manufactured through a process of laying carbon fiber fabric over a mold, applying resin, and curing under vacuum. This method ensures an excellent fabric-to-resin ratio. Once the carbon fiber component has cured, it is meticulously trimmed. A final gel coat is applied and polished to provide a durable, high-luster finish that requires no additional clear coat. The Type-OE insert is designed to fit both the original equipment (OE) ZL1 hood and Anderson Composites' own carbon fiber ZL1 hood.
