It is constructed from FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and comes with a Black Primer Gel Coat finish. This sport grille features a larger intake shape compared to the genuine grille, aimed at actively drawing in more air for improved cooling, especially during spirited driving.

The J's Racing Type R Front Sport Grille is an aftermarket exterior upgrade crafted from FRP with a Black Primer Gel Coat finish, designed to enhance airflow for the Honda Civic Type-R FK8. This sport grille features a large-diameter intake shape, widening the opening beyond the genuine grille to actively pull in more air. This increased cold air inflow is beneficial for high-performance driving scenarios, helping to mitigate heat issues. The grille emblem and emblem base are sold separately, though the J's Racing Grille Emblem Base AG-K8-EM and the Honda OEM Emblem 75700-TGH-A01 are compatible. Compatibility is listed for JDM cars only, and fitment is not guaranteed. The product is designed for Honda Civic Type-R FK8 models with K20C engines from September 2017 to June 2021.
