Description

The Password JDM Carbon Spoiler Lip Gurney Flap is a specialized aerodynamic enhancement for the Honda Integra Type-R (DC5 models, 2001-2006) factory wing. This dry carbon fiber lip attaches to the upper trailing edge of the existing wing, protruding upward. Its primary function is to modify airflow by separating the air that travels over the top of the wing. This action creates a localized high-pressure zone on the wing's upper surface, which in turn generates additional down-force. When combined with a functional front splitter or canards, this gurney flap can significantly improve the overall aerodynamic performance of the Integra Type-R. The component is constructed from natural dry carbon fiber and does not come with a UV-protective clear-coat. To maintain its finish and prevent water spots or white marks, it is recommended to apply a coat of spray-on wax or ceramic coating.
