The J's Racing Type-S Aero Hood is a performance hood designed for the Honda Civic FD2. It features newly designed ducts that improve heat dissipation, effectively lowering water, oil, and intake air temperatures. The double-sided structure ensures strength exceeding the stock hood.

Its innovative duct design is highly effective in reducing water, oil, and intake air temperatures, contributing to optimal engine function. Constructed from FRP with a black gel coat finish, this hood boasts a double-sided structure for superior strength compared to the stock hood. It weighs only 5.5kg, a substantial reduction from the stock hood's 7.0kg, contributing to better vehicle dynamics. The hood includes hardware and bolts and is compatible with stock hood hooks. For racing applications, the use of hood pins is strongly recommended. This product is specifically designed for the JDM FD2 Honda Civic Type-R from 2006 to 2011. Please note that images may show a carbon fiber version; this specific product features a black gel coat finish.
